Okae. 2 more days till im back in singapore. spent all my viet dong already so just gonna stay at home and chill. Bought some viet coffee hoping bring back to singapore... its excellent!

Visited Cuchi tunnel yesterday! kinda cool the guide explained to us as he showed us the tunnels about life during the vietnam war! the amount of booby traps! lol dangerous looking man wouldnt wanna get caught in one of them. Plus the many little "fox holes" that the viet soldiers would come up from the ground! they were so incredibly disguised... I took a picture in 1 just managed to fit in... alright thats all for this christmas eve. hope everyone enjoys their holidays with their loved ones! =)

Im sitting down on the balcony, typing slowly trying to piece my thoughts together. I've spent many hours admiring the view from up here, and it just seems so serene, i lose myself ever so often in my train of thoughts...
I'm feeling things i wish i didnt feel right now, maybe its cause i think too much already. But it just lingers on in my mind. When i go shopping, i only focus on things you would like. I wish someone would just tell me how i should feel... Everytime i zoom back into reality i feel so mentally exhausted. I keep asking myself, Do i dare to take that leap again? Will you be there to catch me? You got this hold over me, its a kinda bittersweet feeling, it confuses me and yet it brings a smile to my face whenever i think of you. ahh hell... i think thats enough for the night. tomorrows a new day!

Yawn its 130am here... i've spent my whole day resting recovering from the after effects of yesterday night. So clubbing here is something new i guess. Tiring though... yawn
Woke up went shopping around for some stuff... ended up walking around aimlessly and did a lil grocery shopping!!! thats like 4 days in a row. Nothing much to buy here anyways. nt anything that catches my fancy at least.
Went out at night alone! to grab a sandwich from some sandwich bar around the corner of the apartment. Kinda scary though, heard so many stories of people being robbed etc. haha!
Was munching on half of my sandwich on the way back when i saw this guy fall of his bicycle after crossing a hump. *flashback* I thought of Yong yang! haha then i had that homesick feeling again... That night of cycling was really fun! Lets go again soon! continued munching when i almost dropped my sandwich when i saw five people on a motorbike! 5!!!! omg. i was like wtf. how did they do it. 3 kids 2 adults 1 kid on each end 1 in the middle.... hahaha. wish i had my camera... I've seen a couple of 4's now a 5! i'll look out for a 6 next! Walked home delivered my lil bro's food then went to watch some tv... around 11 i went to the balcony to sit... ended up admiring the night view of ho chin minh city... quite nice... dozed off till bout 1230... thank god there are little mosquitos here... i'll take a picture of the night lights and post tmr!

Im going out soon to search the neighbourhood for some food... so i thought i'll just blog abit before i leave.
Yesterday was a day for shopping... went to a few departmental stores to search for some groceries. everything's in vietnamese so its kinda hard to find what you want! we spent the rest of the night watching DvD's, chewing gum, drinking beer.. which is incredibly cheap compared to singapore at 1 dollar per can! haha. took some pictures yesterday i'll post them up soon! alright time to go some sightseeing! =D

I'm in vietnam now things are really different here! i feel SOOOooooooo out of my element. Need some time to get used to life here! Over here motorcycles rule man. I havent seen so many bikes in my life... and they dun follow traffic rules or lights... it made me go wow....
Yesterday i had a pretty unpleasent experience though... my mum took a bag belonging to someone else and since it was under my name i had to clear customs alone and go report the lost bag and look for the actual one. So totally couldnt communicate with the people at the airport. They couldnt really understand my english and i couldnt understand their vietnamese... So we communicated in single words. eg. passport, ticket, report, lost, bag... took about an hour and a half there.... haha what an experience for my first day... had some great vietnamese food! and theres no age limit for liquor here so my lil bro drank beer with me and my dad. Gonna grow fat here i think... haha.
Brought my mct log book to do here... but... the problem is i dunno how to start so anyone know the format of writing pls send me thru email k! thanks =)

Pheww. exams are over and im blogging on the night before i fly off to vietnam for 10 days!
Seriously dunno what im gonna do there... not really a big fan of holidays... prolly gonna end up spending time doing bpharm project or MCT log book. Well. lets blog about the events that occured yesterday!
Went home thinking of getting a good sleep after a kinda crappy day in school. ended up tossing and turning for half an hour, so got up and went to watch some tv to kill time before Xuefang's birthhday celebrations!
So we met up at 5 act chomp chomp. Ate talked and laughed before everyone split to prepare for night cycling the plan was meet at 8 at east coast... Jem, mart and yy chilled at my house or awhile before we left.
In the end the 4 of us ended up cycling alone for 1 hr as the rest took ages to come!!!
By the time everyone gathered and things were settled, we had a major problem. The freaking cake melted....
so we bought a lil muffin from macs which sucked and celebrated with the melted cake.
As usual card games with forfeits, the guess each others given names game and the zhong ji mi ma!

cycling after that! i took the back position cause i wanted to enjoy my slow cycling admiring scenery etc. and watch out for people. Cycled to ain's house to pick up some stuff before heading off to bedok reservoir. AFter that was off to nat's house to replace the slippers that she broke. along the way the first major accident! Jeremy lee sped bumped a wall and fell. ouch. abrasions on the back and elbows, plus a swollen thumb. Prata for supper after that! We went back to Ains house after that to rest. Along the way! second accident! ain bumped onto the curb and went flying also... sigh....
We took a breather at simpang bedok, toilet break etc. before heading for the steep slope to ains house. I stayed back to help with xf's cramp and everyone else left! shit... after the cramps subsided we were kinda lost so we went down the steep slope like lost lambs. Travelled some distance then we realised we were lost when we found ourselves at pearlynes house.... hahaha. and xuefang screamed like hell when i warned her about a dead cat on the road. hell she almost made me accident no. 3!!! so i called jem and he guided us back lol. And then we heard about accident no. 3.... Yongyang fell while travelled the steep slope. ouch he practically KO'd for 2 mins i heard... When i saw him i was like ouch. torn shirt, cuts and wounds everywhere.... yikes. So we split into 2 jem, mart and yy took a slow ride/walk back to the house, while the rest took the extra bike and rode back to ains house. along the way police stopped and asked us where the bike came from!!! Ain was like scared cause she had a spanner in her basket!!!! lol.
thank god they didnt check and left. When the bike was back i back tracked to find the rest. Turns out they were hiding from the police lol!!! it was so damn funny la. Fell asleep on ain;s floor! haha. and since they saw me shivering xf threw the blanket over me! haha. ended up sweating like hell in the morning. urgh tiring...

Today was especially tiring for some reason, the fever just wouldnt seem to go away. The headaches hit harder then ever. Felt so damn uncomfortable in school... Morning was MCT lecture, and Dr lim said he would download the lecture notes into my thumb drive if i bring it tomorrow. phew. Went for Mbio lab where the announcement was made that i was Huangyan's permanent assistant! haha extra CU points? *grin*
Lunch with royston at Itas, after the people from retail ended headed to itas again to accompany them for lunch... Poor maine, she had no mood to do anything... so i accompanied her while she emo'd.
home sweet home after that where i took a long nap to try and shake off the headache. Woke up and it was still there.. sigh... how am i supposed to study with the headache!?!?!? haha. yeah gonna listen to music now. night all.

urgh... im blogging after bathing waiting for my hair to dry before i go down for breakfast. yawn
Didnt really sleep much last night tossing and turning. felt so damn uncomfortable with headaches, fever, chills etc. Seriously contemplated popping like 4 more paracetamols to knock myself out... so all in all i managed to get about an hour or so of sleep? sucks. stress must be a factor too... sigh... term tests around the corner. Why must things always happen when the timing is so bad? alright gonna go school now. bye.

yawn i've got no mood to blog tdae.. with mbio and ddct due tmr. sigh and term tests are just around the corner.... maybe i'll get that feeling back tomorrow.. who knows?

A part of me has died at 1026pm 3/12/06.

Yesterday went to attend a family gathering for my dad's farewell party! lots of wine bottles were opened. toasts for my dad came from almost everyone and around 8 plus we left for home... My leg hurt like hell for some reason... couldnt move in and out of the car properly. sigh...
reached home and jem ask me whether want to go east coast! so i agreed. turns out it was Joannes Birthday! lol. They celebrated at beach pub kinda nice ambience there! more alcohol! Felt so bloated i couldnt even finish one mug of beer.... burp. Played pool and watched soccer at ECP till about 2 plus 3 then our journey to find some supper started. We started with a tour around geylang. kinda happening man, the guys almost lost their lives in jems car! lol. we stopped to have some frog leg porridge i think. But the price was just omg.... so we left that place! ended up having prata! by the time we were done it was about 5 plus, so jem fetched me back home... and i ended up stoning after bathing, until my dad fetched me to the sinseh. That guy just gave me hell... but well at least my leg feels better... reached home did abit of homework waiting for the pain in my leg to subside... and finally slept at 1 plus... yawn now im gonna do my DDCT debate.. cheers! and happy 18th birthday again Joanne!

woke up late today... didnt attend anything in school today so just went for soccer.
Phew ok so todays the finals. quarter's first. our match started off badly conceding two quick goals. but thru shear perseverence, we fought back.
2nd match was against the defending champs. we lost but at least we gave our all!
3rd and 4th placing! that was a match to remb, though i had to spend 1/2 of it watching from the sidelines... got a badly twisted ankle thats real swollen now... i remember that moment cuz i watched in agony as the man i was marking was free and the ball went to him for the first goal... I felt like crap not cause of the pain, cause i let my team down. i failed to stop the ball.... sigh... broke down while washing my leg and maine was there to comfort... thank goodness the team never gave up. everyone gave their all we won 4-2! the emotions just flooded me then... Im so proud of my team, they have this never say die spirit that has got us this far! end of the day, lets count the injuries, royston- a busted up leg that lookes chewed on. Jeremy- a right leg thats sprained a left legs thats full of cuts and bruises, ali- sprained ankle, martin- hamstring problem, yongyang-nail came off, me- left twisted leg and right leg thats battered and bruised. but it was worth it... we'll go again next year!

Phew what a day. Had a couple of lessons in school today. kinda boring but thats what i have to go thru for the results!
Went back home for some mahjong and poker! omg poker is so fun! Its all about tactics and mind games... haha... cabbed back to school to watch the girls captains ball game with mart and roy. They won third place congrats to them! they earned it!
After the competition ended wanted to go home... alas we took a cab with a road retard driver who didnt know how to go to TPE from nats house.. so therefore we stopped for mini supper at the macdonalds there...
Left around 11 and me and xf boarded another cab.
WAs looking forward to reaching home and getting a bathe... but we met another more retarded driver... he didnt know how to go to punggol and ended up driving in circles around tampiness, before heading to PIE to eunos then to bedok... then to tanah merah (me and xf were admiring marts house then...) We found ourselves back in changi where he finally went the correct way and off to punggol we went. By then the damn fare was already like 20+ so i thought i'll take another cab from after dropping with xf at her house... didnt want the guy to get lost in punggol... luckily he charged us only 12. After dropping, the driver kept pestering me whether i wanted to continue to serangoon gardens, cause he claimed he knew the way! yeah right i already heard tat twice from him already... so i detoured into the dark bushes to hide out till he left then boarded another cab for home. By the time i reached home it was already 12 plus.. sigh... gonna miss school tmr cause im so tired and dead...
First time in my life i've spent 50 mins in a taxi... wow... haha. wat an experience... alright time for some studying before bed time! see ya!

Wow. what a long day....
Firstly took Mc with jem at some clinic and to my astonishment i found out that i was really sick! damn. fever and flu. rested at jem's house for awhile before going for bpharm lecture.
Followed jem to vicom to check out his car at changi. alas when we reached we realised that the accident portion had closed already. and they referred us to kaki bukit. so we travelled there jeremy made his report and rushed to school for AS soccer!

We won the first game 8-1, loss the 2nd game 6-3 and therefore the it was the showdown between 2 teams to see who would clinch the final spot. We led 5-1 at the break. But due to some hard luck and my damn lethargy i lasted only 2 mins of the 2nd half. somemore hardluck and we found ourselves facing elimination from the competition with the score at 5-5 with 2 minutes to play. things were not going well we were being pegged back in our own half. and things seemed almost done for when the orange guy shot at our goal. It took a slight deflection and martin met it with a superb save. the ball was sent out to royston but was intercepted by the opponent. He passed it back to the keeper and royston appeared from no where! to put us 6-5!!!! Things were getting tenser. Royston held the ball in the corner very well. being hacked and kicked by 2 people and still no fouls. with 5 secs left the opposing keeper picked up the ball after a back pass! penalty!!! Ali converted the spot kick with ease! and we were throught to the finals. Im so proud of the guys... Its really an honour to play with you. So here's a big thank you from me to Ali- Samba king, Royston-ruthless machine,Jeremy- 4 shots before the goal!, martin-fantastic save!, yongyang-coldfaced asassin, cheewee-defensive wall, fithri-DROGBA!!!! haha lets play our best again on friday!!!

Went to catch the girls final netball game of the night... alas it was against the girls version of the orange team, they werent very happy with the result and a couple of fuckers were just plain bastards when they taunted ain during and after the game. Must be still feeling sore after losing to us.... well the girls played well! nice quick flowing passing and some good finishing! I was like spectator watching on the edge of my sit, cheering and giving them advice! Good luck for your finals on thursday!!!

its 1134 on a saturday night... im mentally drained from studying the whole day.....

okae... so this morning was soccer with the usual people! we got thrashed by some outsiders. like i can still feel the battered and bruised ego's. Gonna have nightmares tonight of shots whizzing through my feet.. sigh... but dont worry i believe that the team has developed a bond! we'll make it past the group stages! *roar*
so lunched at KFC where i got scammed. i ordered two student meals and i got charged for two normal meals, but the items were from student meal. didnt realise cause i was too damn hot and tired. the weather was a killer.... ate till my tummy was so damn full... urgh.. took bus no.8 fell asleep missed my stop. dont u just hate it when u wake up at the time when the bus door closes at the stop u intended to alight and by the time u realise whats happening the bus is already moving!? sigh... so alighted at the next stop and endured more beating from the hot sun.... im like sun burnt again...

Reached home and it started raining... #$^%$%^#$^ the whole morning it didnt rain and it suddenly poured... i took a soak in the tub before starting on Mbio i dun wanna end up feeling like shit again after a paper. stupid MCT. studied till like 11. now im so mentally drained. time to plug in my headphones and blasting music.... works all the time....

Sat for MCT quiz this morning words cant describe the depressing feeling i felt after that damn quiz. Questions were so damn indirect. Sigh... and bpharm quiz was alright and all...
Went to library with the aim of completing some Mbio, but... i saw mr chih peng there... gosh. he got me hooked on prison break.
Brunched with isabel at itas after that followed by lunch at business with xuefang and nat.
Played captains ball after that. IT WAS AWESOME! felt great running around catching balls again. basketball days relived! played till i was like sweaty and i had to take a soak in the shower rooms. stood in front of the fans for like ten mins but my shirt still refused to dry.... haha.
Project meeting for debate. relived my secondary debating days. I think im mature enough to handle it now ;P
dont think i'll curse at the opposition and get my team kicked out as in secondary school. Lol.
Mbio lecture herald some great news for us! we're only being tested on 3 things! instead of the whole damn topic... phew.
