Damn, was struck with a variety of illnesses, sorethroat, flu, lung infection and fever. Thats about everything isn't it?
Fever didn't go down even though i was admitted to the sick bay and on IV drip. Felt so horrible. Imagine being sick and having to do training =( can't think just how field camp is gonna be like.... hope it doesn't rain. I look forward to every weekend bookout just so that i can see your face on the screen and talk to you. The hours just seem to fly by so quickly, and poof! before you know it the bright sky has welcomed the darkness. You can imagine how fast my weekend goes by, and then its book in time again. Well at least we have your calling card *I promise i'll get mine soon* just need to see whether i can survive the phone bill issue first XD. Nothing beats face to face interaction though... I can't wait for 20th December to come.

When you walked through the gates today, i felt a sense of loss that tears wouldn't justify, i was losing my confident, my companion and the love of my life. I couldn't make out what i was thinking, mind was just a swirl of memories of us. Though i at least i can look forward to seeing you in 6 months time!!!

yawn! im at Jem's place at the moment.... Soccer in an hours time...how am i gonna play without any sleep!?

Mahjong and cards at Des place yesterday. followed by prrraaaaatttaaaa at RK house!
"pillow talked" with jem at his house after that. haha sounds terribly gay doesn't it? Just crapped about whats going on in our lives so far. Enjoyed it and now his knocked out on his matress while i'm here typing away trying to kill time.

So results so far are pretty satisfactory SIP in KK women's and children's hospital. Thank goodness the people who work with me are people i can communicate with. But there seems to be so many things to do!!!! SIP and MP!! sigh... 2 damn log books to fill. great.

LMQA quiz was kinda okay i guess! Six Sigma made up the bulk of the paper. sheesh spent a sleepless night for nothing. Ended up bloody cranky during project meeting. Major moodswings!!! Happy, moody, crazy , pissed off! Thing that really got me feeling pissed was Poh changing the damn haem test to friday. Like what the fuck... now we got to study one extra day. Which means theres one less day for rest and projects....

project meeting got really out of control at one point. Everyone except poor eugene just couldn't stop laughing!!! mwahhahaha I'm EVIL!!!! =D

Got caught in a thunder storm on the way home. sucks when u get drenched from head to toe... Bathed, dried up and plonked on the bed for a well deserved sleep!!! Woke up around 9 ate dinner slacked and decided to head over to brent's place for some chilling out. They queued for donut factory today and after just 1 double chocolate donut. I'm beginning to think that queueing for 3-4 hours at 1 place isnt so bad after all!!!! Totally yummy!

Finally got to dinner with the army boys and juan at macs. AND YES! They showed manu vs everton on the television there!!! But crap, they kept complaining i was paying more attention to the tv then them! Sorry guys you know me... Manu. Just after half time with manu down by 2 goals, Eug wanted us to leave the macs. So they sorta dragged me along.. Went zy house to play abit of ghost recon then cabbed to carel's house to watch happy feet and chill... Reached home around 1230. Tired as hell.... Tomorrow's Mal's birthday!!! heehee.

1st day of sch. kinda lazy to go back actually after being a lazy slacker for the whole of the holidays...

Had lab with alvin poh... which really looked gory all around blood on gloves etc. Had to be pricked 5 times by the damn lancet. Ouch. 4 times by martin 1 time by joanne....
Went home ate dinner and went out for supper with Mei, Brent,Mel,Carel and Gary!! Met for tea with Jem before that... so supper was basically another chance to slack. and pig out... in the end missed the last train home. had to cab it!!!!

So yesterday woke up pretty early considering i had a late night. Went for lunch with my mum and her good friend who just came back from Belgium after living there for 10 years!! She has a Belgium husband, and a cute little 1 and a half year old girl! The girls name is Michiko! Spent most of the lunch session playing with her! Love it when babies giggle and they're such attention grabbers! i couldnt sit down and eat properly cause of her! always tugging on my sleeve! Angelic girl... Went home pretty tired from the exertions, but just couldnt sleep so just listened to my music and read magazines till i dozed off.

today met up with the granny and an aunt with her toddler! Went for lunch at Jalan Besar, and i swear i have never seen someone so small eat so much! Potential Pig!!! She just pointed at the food and i said: "I want"!

So tonight there's a match between manu and roma. looks like ill be sleeping late again today.. =D. Gogo Manu!!!

haha its been awhile since i last blogged a long entry... guess i just havent been in the mood or wadever. *other words it just means im lazy* =)
Had like 2 hours of sleep? wanted to go sao mu, but in the end they went without me... bah... made me wake up for nothing. plus i couldnt get back to sleep!!!! tossed and turned in the bed for like 2 hour... Got up bathed and just got out. Bused down serangoon central and decided to take a walk since i was early for the outing. Secondary school memories just came flooding back! the coffee shop with the noodle store, which i practically went at least 3/4 times a week.... the macdonalds where we had our crapping sessions and our card games the salon,
the comic shop. ....

Met up with the old marists and off to ps for lunch and movie! pizza hut was alright, ended up serving everyone and poor malcolm drank 5 cups of ice water due to his sore throat! waited for brent then we walked to Cathay to watch sunshine. Omg man the show is kinda dumb you seriously pay 9 dollars just to see the sun shine. got a damn headache after i stepped out... well i guess the next full outing wont be anytime soon since mal and eug gonna enter army.. Yawn well at least i managed to get my mind of stuff during the outing. imagine 1 whole day at home doing nothing... zzzzzz.

im tired man. woke up after only getting like 3 hours of sleep to have lunch with my dad and accompany him for a massage.. lunch kinda sucked, Nasi Lemak that was supposedly supposed to be heavenly... Ended up tasting like the 1 dollar wrapped in banana leaves kind. Went home helped my dad to pack and napped for half an hour before sending him off to the airport.... gonna see him in 9 days though so no worries =)

Today something woke up bathed walked around then i searched for lunch... saw a restaurant.
"Lim's"! omg its a singaporean cuisine restaurant!!!! yummy had bak kuh teh! and i felt right at home. Well here i am back in vietnam... only this time im alone here for 9 days due to some ticketing error. gotta find some stuff to do or ill just die.
plane ride was hell, sat beside a disgusting guy took of his shoes pointed his foot in my direction totally lost my appetite. Plus the tiredness of having to find out that my ticket was booked in the wrong month, and having to find last minute flights etc. Dead tired... yawn.

okay so im back from ubin. it was a nightmare. like living in hell....
We arrived a lil late around 630, without any supplies... so walked to the secluded camp site pitched up tents and left to the provision shops around 7. The two kids just kept asking questions along the way... whats this!?, why is it here?!, who stays here!? etc etc.

Bought some bread, water and tuna to last the night. there goes my dinner.... Spent 2 hours trying to teach the boys how to start a fire... in the end they only managed to learn how to burn leaves. i gave up and decided to let them enjoy themselves with the little flame! =)

thank goodness there was this hammock, so i just lay there and looked over the sea... tried to get some sleep, but couldnt so got up and decided to get a proper fire going around 1130... finished it by 12. and just sat around wondering what to do.... Boredom set in, started pacing around the campsite and stoning. Till i heard a damn boar snorting in the bushes... dived into the tent to hide lol. remained there till about 3 plus where i got up again. insects were biting me all over the place and i couldnt sleep! whats more, i stood up and walked over my specs *crunch* damn thing broke into two.

wanted to leave for home there and then.. irritating... talked on the phone till bout 530, where i decided im leaving the camp for home first. i couldnt wait till 10.... i craved civilization!!! So there i was armed with a torch light half blind without my specs and my bag. I only managed to walk out of the campsite and into the jungle when ahead of me the freaking boar jumped out of the bushes and into the path!!! i hightailed and ran back towards the camp. trapped on an island. Tried waiting for the sunrise but it was so cloudy... I felt like i was living in "lost"... in the end i woke my friend up and he accompanied me to the jetty! had to pay 24 dollars just to shuttle a boat back. but it was worth it....

went zy house today! wee!! whole 2g peeps were there! we had fun didnt we!? reliving those crazy days. swimming, basketball, tennis... I reached around 8 in the morning, about 4 hours earlier then everyone else... sheesh. played xbox and fell asleep. cant blame me only had like 2 hours of rest... we had 1 hell of a day. we should do it again soon...

haha so today woke up pretty late. thought i'd be late for lunch with ab14 peeps. but alas theres jem and nette to count on ;). Had a lil probs finding the place. since both hotels side by side had excelsior in their names... Overall lunch was pretty great. i ate till my stomach was jammed packed! *burp* then on to movies with the old marist gang! weee we caught 300! its an excellent movie in my opinion. Abit gory and violent though. Wonder where they got so many people with excellent bodies...
Then was off to my house for some mahjonging! phew thank goodness i didnt lose... gosh its been a week of mahjong for me. im kinda sick of it already... yawn. dinner at macs ensued!
and tomorrow! Mr Ken Hee Zhenyang passes out from BMT!!!!! time to go catch up with him!

well im back from driving and mahjong today. crap hell its so damn tiring to drive on 2 hours of sleep...*yawn* kept blinking to keep myself from falling asleep in the car. The instructor was pretty alert always barking if my eyes drooped to small lol. Well it cant be helped i chose to drive for 3 lessons straight... and damn i cant book my Practical test until i get my FTT done! ZOMG! all the rushing gone to waste. sigh... well nevermind ill preservere and go along the course! i want my license!!!!! =D

Waiting is just so tiring both emotionally and mentally...

Ah! well here i am back again after a week or so...
Well exams are over. Pretty confident about mbio.. but bpharm just sucked.
I thought i left my damn calculator in the toilet, and when i asked the invigilator whether i could go get it. she said no. so even before the paper started i was feeling shit. then yeah marks for calculation flew away!!! then after the paper guess what! my calculator's in the bag! Whooppee!
Thats how F***ing blur i am. mahjong session at jeremy's house and desmonds house. Tiring crap, but hell the exams are over so to hell with tiredness. Got the whole holiday to sleep...

Today Lunch at Suntec City to celebrate Maine's birthday... Felt really lethargic for some reason.... yawn. Swensens icecream still rocks! yummy! *slurp*
Hung around the arcade played some games while the girls decided what movie to watch!
Ended up watching Norbit! at Marina Square... Kinda funny show. But poor jeremy fell asleep halfway again.. guess its not his kind of show afterall =D. Dinner at Plaza Sing. with jeremy, mart and roy ate fish noodles another yummy meal! haha. gastronomical treat! Went home observed some more mahjong played by my grandaunt... then supper with els and syed! Talked about vietnam and just crapped about everything we could crap about! yawn its now 4am... need some sleep got 2 driving lessons tomorrow followed by cycling! zooooom.... night all.

Day 2 of the new year...
Lost money gambling on day 1 at relatives house and at desmonds house...*byebye money*
there goes my hongbao money from day 1.
Day 2 was spent sleeping at home thru the morning and into the afternoon...
And then the big family gathering at Singapore Recreation clubs restaurant.
As usual met the entire family... distant cousins uncles whom i dont know etc etc.
collected like 5 hongbaos only though... surprising. should have hung around all the uncles and aunties more... Spent the evening pigging out over dinner, chatting with my cousins, then was the fireworks at 9 followed by pool ( thrashed by my cousin), night cycling and stay over at my cousin's new house. that about sums up both days....
its time is started studying!

Well the new years here, didnt enjoy today though. Had stuff on my mind to sort out...
And just when i thought that this would be the day to get some rest, the maid had to run away... jeez. spent half the day finding her... and the other half preparing for the reunion dinner... Some kind of rest day huh.

Rushed through dinner went to the park for a walk. fell asleep while lying on the bench looking at the stars. Woke up went home and just chilled in my room with the music blasting. Tomorrow's visiting day! lets hope there will be more enthusiasm in my mood...
Maybe its cause of the 2 papers i have left. Mbio and Bpharm... Hope i can get into the studying mood quickly after the short break.

When i was in the park i thought of a couple of things. I thought of what happened to me the past year or so, I thought of what could have been... and i just stopped, cause i couldnt carry on any longer..

Friday DDCT's over! finally the weekends here! Chinese New Years jsut around the corner... phew finally a breather. Time to catch up on sleep! heehee. Wanted to pick up my dad from the airport today, but due to certain commitments i couldnt make it... but its okay i joined him for some shopping in the evening followed by supper at toa pa yoh. The company loaned him some toyota thats gotta be like at least 10 years old? and thats AT LEAST! haha. vintage i would say.

Back from Happy sessions at east coast park with ain and xuefang! we sat at the break water after dinner at parkway! and just chilled talked ran from cockroaches and rats! but overall we talked quite abit. stared at the stars. and the two of them mistook a plane for some light house.... like OMG. i was like thats so obviously a plane... Doh!

This few days have been kinda hectic. irregular sleeping patterns, studying, gambling and emoing dont make a good cocktail! =X
practically knocked out the moment i touched the bed yesterday. Out cold for 12 hours, till bout 4 am and couldnt get back to sleep... so listened to some music and doodled.
Mct lecture was okay, kinda rush, but at least i managed to catch the gist of it! crashed retail lecture that! jem couldn wake up so i kinda took his place there!
I tell you! the retail teacher is sooooo.... draggy! thank god i dont actually take her lessons! ill just faint. Rejoiced when their lecture was finally over!
Breakfast at mac's with yy, mart, ain, xf and pearlyne! its been awhile since i had breakfast there! then desmond fetched us to kovan to take MRT to jems house for another gambling session. Another 7 hours plus of fun, laughter and cursing. Then it was dinner at the coffee shop! then home sweet home.

Rahhh!!! back from the national stadium! Singapore 2 Thailand 1!!!
Yay! so skipped school today to rest longer at home. Headed to mart's house around 2pm, watched a new series called "heroes" and episode 15 of prison break! dinner at Simpang before heading over to the national stadium. hell it was crowded... Handphone networks were screwy and it was almost impossible to get through to anyone! haha. thank god alex found us. The other guys went in first while i waited for jeremy to arrive! Watched the first 35 mins from a small opening in the stadium. Heard the cheers when singapore scored! whoop! Of course me being so patriotic and stuff was cheering for Singapore, plus the fact that i put 10 on singapore to win.
Then during the 2nd half the thai's equalised and then the vulgarities started to fly.. It was F*** this !$#%@ that. the heat of the moment was really getting to the fans! then during the last 10 mins singapore had a penalty! damn thais refused to carry on with the game. they just stopped playing... boo's and what not from the crowd!
In the end after 15 mins of pacifying they continued. What babies! *pfft*
Decided to video tape the penalty kick after that! the stadium erupted when the goal was scored! RAHHHH!!!! I was back on track to earning money and watching singapore win again! haha. I wanted to review the vids but i realised i didnt save it...... so in the end i got the vids from alex and yong yang! Yay!
spent 30 mins trying to find jems car after that. Before heading to 85 for supper... not gonna sleep tonight so yea, gotta find something to do... night people

wahh! what a day! i havent registered my damn mc yet and ive got to do it by thursday. shit. plus i got to study for the ddct quiz which was supposedly a killer. ive got no mood to do anything right at the moment. school is just getting sucky. with more projects, more workload and the upcoming term tests and exams coming up.
Had the interview today, probably screwed up BIGGG time by being late and shit. Kinda ruined my whole damn day after that. Bpharm lecture during which i kept falling asleep, nodding off as ms hor droned on and on about drugs...

What a week it has been... Didnt sleep during the night from monday to friday! haha. Projects and quizes just suck.

Studied so damn hard for MCT on thursday night only to find the paper ridiculously easy. Felt cheated, went home after DDCT interview to try and get some sleep before night safari!
In the end only managed to nap for an hour.. zzz.
Dinner at Serangoon Garden Hawker Centre before night safari. When we got to the night safari it started to rain, but we enjoyed walking in the rain and looking at animals. Though our legs got tired after awhile. Got drenched from head to toe, so obviously wasnt feeling very happy bout it. Then in some bat enclosure, some dumb people with umbrellas, stopped to look at bats, causing a damn jam cause they occupied the whole damn walk way. I told them to get a move on. it only bats come on. not like some alien species.... jeez. inconsiderate really.
Once we got to the entrance of the place, we had a hard time deciding where to go. In the end it was my house, i gave the girls a tour since it was their first time and opened a bottle of vodka for ain. When the guys came over it was all about gambling again... Sigh we gambled till the wee hours of the morning again.. *No more till after exams!*

Spent the whole saturday afternoon sleeping... what a waste...

Hmmmm today attended school for ddct tutorial, bpharm lecture and ddct lecture. as expected the day passed by real fast with us lunching over at engine 2. Was supposed to go to popeye's but too bad xf didnt go so not much point in me going either... accompanied martin to register for his driving at ubi centre! that place is so ulu please.... and thanks to my excellent sense of direction i guided martin to the bus stop and found my own way home! mwahaha. damn proud of myself...

Long day in school yesterday! was seriously contemplating not going for MCT lecture...
but my hardworking side urged me up from bed... yawn
so had the damn lecture and had a lil breakfast at itas with roy, maine and xf. haha everyone was looking forward to spending the evening at the night safari. But alas the weather had other plans for us. Raining drizzling non stop. so damn irritating...
So during lunch time watched a couple of people i knew singing live outside the library. Again the weather had to screw it up sigh.
And yeah now i have a lueblack on my arm thanks to that charmaine... damn that girl packs a mean pinch.
After mbio lecture xf accompanied the guys to marts house! we waited for ain to meet us for dinner, so as usual the guys got down to gambling etc. while the poor girl just sat and watched haha. So dinner at bedok corner. Had Charkwaytiao and some satay...
Went for a drink at Georges at Siglap. Poor Mart had to drink lychee martini! haha i ordered the same drink as roy but we got two totally different drinks in the end. hmmm... after that my eyes started giving me hell damn contacts.

Ah okae. lets do a little history on randalls life! 1 year ago! well 1 year ago at this time i'd prolly be hugging the damn computer addicted to "World Of Warcraft" with my secondary school friends or guild members raiding and stuff. Which probably explains my lack of energy in school and shitty grades. I used to enjoy the game so much... Raiding* which is playing with about 40 people online killing monsters and shit. talking thrash with people from all walks of life. And doing something fun with my secondary school friends... But afterawhile as the game progressed raiding became just too much of a chore and i got so sick of it. It no longer became a fun activity. It became an activity that i had to do. a responsiblity in a sense. So i stopped playing the game...

The expansions coming out, and im still considering whether to join my old friends back in the game. Haha. Though i think Im already past that addiction phase. Maybe i'd log on once in awhile and chat with the old peeps. Ive retired the rogue already, not gonna play it anymore...got sick of it. though ive spent alot of effort in it... sigh...

what a day, woke up real early around 530 and decided to go to school early...
So took back DDCT, Bpharm and heard about my csas results. i wouldnt say they're, but they're below my expectations... gonna try harder this term! Csas lesson was such a bore... teacher just kept droning on and on about interview skills blah blah blah. Couldnt wait for lessons to end.
Since jeremy didnt have his car, we took dezz's car instead. me and jem decided to go for some fun at desmonds house! lol. in the car, we played blackjack with yongyang being the banker! That fella won 7 bucks in 5 mins! then he left.... easy money....
Played a lil playstation till everyone got sick of it then we moved on the POKER!
I think poker's totally my game. Ended the day 40 dollars richer! *evil laughter*
Everything went kinda well for me today! hope this doesnt mean tomorrow will suck.

A new year, a fresh start....
So yesterday we met up for fireworks at cityhall. So damn crowded... abandoned cityhall for bedok jetty, and ended up watching flares shot by ships at 12 instead of fireworks. went to bedok 85 for supper, ended up drinking sugarcane and watching people eat! haha. Went over to brent's party after walking maine home. Reached the party with more then half the party drunk on the floor. The majority of the sober ones wanted to go back to cityhall and play lan at irc. didnt like the idea so i hung around abit more... then joined the mini gathering at ains house... We talked quite abit about the past year the ups and downs that we each faced.
Xuefang said ive changed since i came back from vietnam... must be too much emo-ing there! esp on xmas. Cabbed back home with xf after that and almost fell asleep in the bath.
Well thats basically how i spent my new year... heres wishing everyone an excellent year ahead!

And i dont want the world to see me, cause i dont think that they'd understand...

Visited Cuchi tunnel yesterday! kinda cool the guide explained to us as he showed us the tunnels about life during the vietnam war! the amount of booby traps! lol dangerous looking man wouldnt wanna get caught in one of them. Plus the many little "fox holes" that the viet soldiers would come up from the ground! they were so incredibly disguised... I took a picture in 1 just managed to fit in... alright thats all for this christmas eve. hope everyone enjoys their holidays with their loved ones! =)

Im sitting down on the balcony, typing slowly trying to piece my thoughts together. I've spent many hours admiring the view from up here, and it just seems so serene, i lose myself ever so often in my train of thoughts...
I'm feeling things i wish i didnt feel right now, maybe its cause i think too much already. But it just lingers on in my mind. When i go shopping, i only focus on things you would like. I wish someone would just tell me how i should feel... Everytime i zoom back into reality i feel so mentally exhausted. I keep asking myself, Do i dare to take that leap again? Will you be there to catch me? You got this hold over me, its a kinda bittersweet feeling, it confuses me and yet it brings a smile to my face whenever i think of you. ahh hell... i think thats enough for the night. tomorrows a new day!

Yawn its 130am here... i've spent my whole day resting recovering from the after effects of yesterday night. So clubbing here is something new i guess. Tiring though... yawn
Woke up went shopping around for some stuff... ended up walking around aimlessly and did a lil grocery shopping!!! thats like 4 days in a row. Nothing much to buy here anyways. nt anything that catches my fancy at least.
Went out at night alone! to grab a sandwich from some sandwich bar around the corner of the apartment. Kinda scary though, heard so many stories of people being robbed etc. haha!
Was munching on half of my sandwich on the way back when i saw this guy fall of his bicycle after crossing a hump. *flashback* I thought of Yong yang! haha then i had that homesick feeling again... That night of cycling was really fun! Lets go again soon! continued munching when i almost dropped my sandwich when i saw five people on a motorbike! 5!!!! omg. i was like wtf. how did they do it. 3 kids 2 adults 1 kid on each end 1 in the middle.... hahaha. wish i had my camera... I've seen a couple of 4's now a 5! i'll look out for a 6 next! Walked home delivered my lil bro's food then went to watch some tv... around 11 i went to the balcony to sit... ended up admiring the night view of ho chin minh city... quite nice... dozed off till bout 1230... thank god there are little mosquitos here... i'll take a picture of the night lights and post tmr!
